The MoP Practitioner Certification is suitable for individuals who want to demonstrate that they have sufficient knowledge and understanding to apply and tailor the MoP guidance and to analyse portfolio data, documentation and roles in relation to a scenario situation.
With suitable support, a successful MoP Practitioner should be able to advise on the implementation of appropriate practices and techniques, and apply the method to a live portfolio. The individual’s expertise, the complexity of the portfolio, and the support provided are factors that will also influence the impact the Practitioner can achieve.
Who is MoP Practitioner for:
MoP Practitioner is suitable for professionals involved in a range of formal and informal portfolio management roles encompassing investment decision making, project and programme delivery, and benefits realisation. The certification is also valuable to those involved in the selection and delivery of business change initiatives, including members of Management Boards and Directors of Change, SROs, Portfolio, Programme, Project, Business Change and Benefits managers, as well as business case writers and project appraisers.
Prerequisites
For this course, you are required to have obtained your MoP Foundation certificate. Even if your ITIL® 4 Foundation certificate is expired, you can still do any higher level MoP course from 1 World Training. Every successful pass of an Peoplecert exam that belongs under the same Suite, will renew the previous expired certificates to the renewal date of the most recent Axelos Peoplecert exam.
Example: Even if the MoP Foundation certificate is expired, has a due renewal date (for instance 1st July 2023), the MoP Foundation is still considered a valid prerequisite and will be extended to the renewal date of MoP Practitioner, after successful acquisition of the latter.
Certification: On Passing Exam you become, MoP Practitioner.
