Course Overview
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the film and entertainment industry, introducing new possibilities across development, production, post-production, and distribution. The AI in Film (AIF) course provides learners with a practical understanding of how artificial intelligence can support and enhance modern filmmaking workflows.
The course explores the use of AI throughout the filmmaking process, from developing concepts and scripts to creating visual assets, supporting production, editing footage, generating audio, and improving post-production workflows. Participants will learn how generative AI and other AI-powered technologies can help filmmakers work more efficiently while expanding their creative possibilities.
Rather than viewing AI as a replacement for human creativity, the course focuses on using AI as a creative and production assistant. Learners will explore how filmmakers, producers, writers, editors, content creators, and other media professionals can combine human judgment and storytelling skills with emerging AI capabilities.
The course also examines important ethical, legal, and professional considerations surrounding AI-generated content, including copyright, intellectual property, authenticity, bias, and responsible use.
